She-Hulk Release Date, Star Cast, OTT, Makers, Trailer & More

Produced by Marvel Studios, She-Hulk is an upcoming American television series, which is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

The character first appeared in the comic book “She-Hulk #1”, created by Stan Lee and John Buscema and published in February 1980.

She-Hulk character has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force, and S.H.I.E.L.D.


It is intended to be a part of television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise.


Tatiana Maslany, the multiple award-winning Canadian actress is playing the female lead as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk.

Tatiana rose to fame for playing multiple characters in the science-fiction thriller television series Orphan Black (2013-2017), for which she won many awards like Primetime Emmy Award, TCA Award, Critics’ Choice Awards, Canadian Screen Awards etc

Mark Ruffalo will reprise his character of Bruce Banner “Hulk”, which gives him international recognition. The character appeared in many superhero films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It includes “The Avengers”, “Iron Man 3”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Avengers: Infinity War”, “Captain Marvel”, “Avengers: End Game” and “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”.

The series also feature these actors in pivotal roles:

  • Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/ Abomination
  • Ginger Gonzaga as Jennifer Walters’ best friend
  • Renee Elise Goldsberry as Amelia
  • Jameela Jamil as a rival of She-Hulk with incredible strength, Titania
  • Anais Almonte
  • Josh Segarra


This superhero film is created by Jessica Gao. Ten out of six episodes of the series including the first, the last and four others, are directed by Kat Coiro while Anu Walia is also directing some episodes of the series.

Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Kat Coiro and Jessica Cao are the executive producers of the series while Melissa Hunter, Cody Ziglar, Kara Brown and Zeb Wells are serving as writers. On technical front, the cinematography is handled by Florian Ballhaus.


Series will show Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who, after injury received an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner or Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and acquired a milder version of his hulk condition.

In result, Walters becomes a large, powerful, green-hued version of herself, but unlike Banner, she still retains her personality. However, she is still susceptible to outbursts of anger and becomes much stronger when enraged.


The series is a part of Phase Four of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Phase Four features all of the Marvel Studios production set to be released from 2021 through 2023.

Although the makers of the series has not announced an official release date, it is confirmed that the series will release in mid 2022. It will comprise 10 episodes having a run-time of 30-minutes each and will stream on Disney Plus.

The filming started on April 10, 2020 in Los Angeles and wrapped up in August 26, 2021.
