Fast & Furious 10 Titled ‘Fast X’ Release Date, Star Cast, Latest Updates & More

F&F franchise after amassing a chunk of money at the box office worldwide in the year 2021 is now gearing for the 10th part in the series. Recently makers confirmed that they have roped in Jason Mamoa in the film he will be playing the villain’s role.
NEW TITLE UNVEILED
Recently, makers unveiled the title ‘Fast X’ earlier it was tentatively called Fast and Furious or F10, along with announcing the title, they also confirmed that the filming for the 10th installment has begun from April 20 onwards.
STAR CAST OF FAST & FURIOUS 10
The director of the 2021 F9 film Justin Lin is back again in the director’s chair with producing the movie himself along with Vin Diesel.

Though makers haven’t confirmed the star cast yet, the longstanding cast Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Brides aka Ludacris, and Sung Kang are allegedly returning. F8 or The Fate of the Furious and F9 actor Charlize Theron is also returning for the upcoming film.
IS DWAYNE JOHNSON RETURNING OR NOT?
In Nov, Vin through SM platform Instagram pleaded with Dwayne Johnson who starred in F5 (Fast Five) through F8 (The Fate of The Furious) & a spin-off film called Hobbs & Shaw, with the latter declining the offer calling the former manipulative in Dec in an interview, the hope for Dwayne’s casting in the film has ended with it. Since then the franchise is looking for someone who could fill the gap.

FAST & FURIOUS 10 RELEASE DATE
Talking about the 10th installment of the F&F film series, it will be reportedly a two-part film with the first part is currently slated to hit the theatres on 19 May 2023 and part two in Feb 2024. Both the part will be directed by Lin.
However, the highest-grosser film in this successful franchise is the 7th film Furious 7 which was also the last film of the late actor Paul Walker.
UPCOMING PROJECTS IN THE FRANCHISE
Taking about the expansion they along with the two-part of the 10 films are reportedly be adding a sequel to the Hobbs & Shaw starring Jason Statham & Dwayne.

And an untitled Women-Led film to the franchise. While the former will be financed by Hiram Garcia & Dwayne himself, the latte will be bankrolled by Vin, Michael Fottrell, and Chris Morgan.
MAIN LEADS UPCOMING FILMS
Meanwhile, Jason Mamoa will be seen this year in the sequel of Aquaman named Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and the other film Slumberland both films are reportedly in the post-production stage.
He has another film in his hand The Last Manhunt in which he is essaying the character Big Jim it’s in the post-production phase currently.
On the other Vin will be seen playing Groot’s voice in Thor: Love and Thunder and Avatar 2 this year. Apart from F10’s two-part he is also cast in Avatar3 which is slated to release in the year 2023.
